Our introduction to miniature horses was in 1989 while we were on vacation in North Dakota at the Fargo Fair. We were walking through the horse barns and found the minis. For "Roger", it was love at first sight. At that point in time we lived in a city in California with no room for livestock.

In 1991 we decided to move to Roger's home state of North Dakota. A relative found us the property to buy. Then we started looking for miniature horses. At a miniature horse show and play day at Fessendon North Dakota, we met Jim and Sheryll Fike. From them, we bought a pregnant mare named "Buffy", her weanling filly, "Fike's Almost Midnight" (AM) and "Foxy's Hershy's Kiss" (Kissy). Two months later at another mini show, a tiny foal caught my eye, named "I'm A Husky Bali" (Bali). We met Leo and Lola Zink, and I asked if he was for sale.

Our garage was turned into a mini barn. Our 3/4 ton maxi van turned into a mini horse van. Our back lot turned into a corral.

We turned our passion for these little horses into a breeding program with some of the best known bloodlines in the industry: Rowdy, Lazy N Boogerman, Boones Little Buckeroo, Boones Little Andy, Boones Little apache, NFC Gambling Man, and Alamos Locomotion, to name just a few. We welcome your visit to see our fine miniatures.

In memory of Buffy, Kissy, AM, and Bali
now gone to greener pastures in Heaven, but remain forever in our hearts,
along with all the fun and adventures we had with them!
